洛北エリア Rakuhoku area
大原三千院 Ohara-Sanzen-in
街中から離れた場所にある三千院は、とても静かで緑豊かな素敵な場所です。

瑠璃光院 Ruriko-in
春と秋の限られた期間のみ拝観することができる瑠璃光院は木の机に外の景色が映りとても神秘的な世界を楽しむことができます。

下鴨神社 Shimogamo-Jinja(shrine)
下鴨神社は１９９４年に世界文化遺産にも登録されています。

北野天満宮では毎月25日に「天神さん」が行われます。

天神さんでは京都ならではの和菓子や野菜や盆栽に骨董品や着物などたくさんのお店が出店され賑わいます。

先斗町は狭い路地にたくさんの飲食店があり、和食だけでなくタコ焼き・韓国料理・ホルモン鍋・串カツなど様々なジャンルなお店があります。

祇園に比べてリーズナブルです。また夏には鴨川の上に設置される床で食事を楽しめます。

錦市場 Nishiki-Ichiba
京都の台所と言われる錦市場は新鮮な魚介や果物から、京都の名産のお漬物や抹茶のお店などが並びます。

市場なので夕方にはレストラン以外はほとんど閉まります。

近くには八木邸と旧前川邸があり、新撰組の歴史を感じることとができます。
